These leaked pictures seem to say yes.
Tennis superstar Serena Williams is undeniably one of the most dominant athletes on the planet, so it’d be no surprise for her to get some special kicks from one of Nike’s related brands. She already has her own signature tennis sneaker in the NikeCourt Flare, but these leaked Air Jordan 1 mid photos are something else.
Featuring black and pink color blocking, the shoe is unmistakably Serena’s with her logo appearing on the tongue as well as embossed on the heel where the jump would usually go. These photos are only leaks, so the soonest we’d see anything close to a confirmation is probably at the Australian Open next week.
Hopefully Serena Williams’ connection to Jordan Brand turns out to be real, because there are only a few athletes who can match the dominance of the 22-time Grand Slam champion. Williams recently made headlines for her surprise engagement to Reddit co-founder Alex Ohanian.
