The OVO rapper posted a photo of himself with his two collaborators on Instagram last night.
Last month, Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi confirmed that he played a new collaboration between Drake, Mike WiLL Made-It and Atlanta rapper Trouble at an Art Basel party. Now a new post from Drake seems to hint that the track is on its way.
Drizzy posted a picture of himself, Mike, and Trouble on Instagram yesterday, which seems like more than just a coincidence. Seeing that the track was already recorded in December, it's very reasonable to assume that it could be released soon. However, we don't know where it will end up, though it seems logical that the track will either appear on Drake's upcoming More Life "playlist," or Mike's long-awaited Ransom 2 project. At this point, we just want to hear what these three have cooked up.
In case you're not familiar with what Trouble is capable of, download hisSkoobzilla mixtape, one of the strongest Atlanta projects of 2016, which is saying a lot.
Last week, OVO producer Nineteen85 revealed that Drake's More Life would give shine to lesser known artists. "That's why he's trying to call it a playlist because he has a bunch of people in a space, hanging out," he said. "He's so aware of what everybody else is doing musically that he likes to introduce new music and new artists to the rest of the world."
More Life is expected to arrive in early 2017.
UPDATE: Mike WiLL has also shared a photo of himself, Trouble, and Drake on Twitter, captioning it "Streets ain't ready."
