BILOXI, MS – In two videos uploaded to his own Instagram page, Boosie BadAzz has claimed that he, his family and his friends were pepper-sprayed and forced to leave a shopping mall in Biloxi, Mississippi.
He also claimed that after the incident, police came to the scene and took his “jewelry sack” from his car, a bag that Boosie claims contained more than $1 million worth of jewelry.
Sounding frustrated and emotional, Boosie recounted the story on Instagram: “The security came up to me and said ‘Boy, get out my damn mall, boy.’ I said, ‘Alright, he racist, we gotta go man.'”
Boosie then goes on to say that his niece, who was “six months pregnant with twins,” was pepper-sprayed for walking in the wrong direction. Boosie alleges that the cop then sprayed his friend for asking why the security guard sprayed Boosie’s niece.
“He back us in the corner and he sprayed us again. Okay, after we left out the mall, he came up behind us again, and sprayed us again. So, who is the animal in this situation? Who is ignorant in this situation? If that was any white singer, you think they would have sprayed them?”
As for the jewelry sack, Boosie typed on Instagram: “Biloxi police has stolen a million dollars in jewelry from me, we going protest soon follow my IG for times n dates I need my fans to support this injustice.”
“This is 1968 all over again they trying to take my my jewelry from me this is crazy. When I see my Po Friday I’m asking permission to go to the steps of the Biloxi court with my fans, n lawyers n hold a press conference about this million dollar theft that has been committed.”
A video posted by DJ Akademiks appears to show a snippet of the incident filmed by an onlooker.
