» » Sean “Diddy” Combs Blasts Hip-Hop Artists For “Cooning” Taking Break From Social Media

(AllHipHop News) It looks as if Sean “Diddy” Combs has had enough of social media and he appears to be following through on a promise to disconnect from the Internet.
Earlier today (January 12), Diddy posted a message to his Instagram account, in which he appeared to be distressed about the state of Hip-Hop.
“Netflix has this great documentary on hip-hop, the history of hip-hop. I know I think Steve Stoute did oneFab Five [Freddy]… Just go to YouTube, man. Go to YouTube, man,” Sean “Diddy” Combs said. “I’m staying off my social devices. It’s too much cooning and buffooning. Too much cooning and buffooning,” said Diddy, who owns the legendary Bad Boy label, the Sean John clothing line and the Ciroc liquor brand, which have pushed his net worth to over $700 million dollars.
Diddy’s comments will only add to a growing debate over a new crop of rappers and their views on Hip-Hop music.

The conversation was thrust into the forefront in 2016, after several high-profile incidents involving Young Dolph, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Yachty.
Both rappers eventually backtracked, but by then a number of producers and rappers, including Pete Rock, Snoop Dogg, Anderson.Paak and various media outlets had weighed in on the matter.
Diddy said he has had had enough of the “Cooning” that was taking place, and what Hip-Hop has become in 2017.
“Believe me, when I get my thoughts together, I’m going to figure out a way to articulate myself because this conversation ain’t even for the whole world to hear, it’s just for us,” Diddy promised.
Is Diddy Right For Blasting New Hip-Hop Artists For "Cooning"?
“Believe me, they saying you cooning and buffooning. Oh, believe me! And, they loving every minute of it,” Diddy continued. “I’m not one to cast no stone, but damn it I know when to stop. I just wish everybody love and positive energy. I know this is going way over some people’s head,” Diddy said before ending with a prayer.
