Kanye West was in the middle of performing his song ‘Heartless’ at the Meadows Festival in New York City when he abruptly stopped.

“I’m sorry, there’s a family emergency. I have to stop the show,’ ‘Ye told the shocked crowd.

Update: West was responding to a report that his wife has held up while in Paris.

“Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers. She is badly shaken but physically unharmed,” Kim Kardashian West spokesperson Ina Treciokas tells CNN.
